Prospero, Miranda, Caliban, and Ariel are four lost souls stranded on an island. To pass the time, they ritualistically tell and retell themselves a story of past wrongs, revenge, and a magical storm that will finally rescue and redeem them, conjuring the shipwrecked interlopers out of thin air.
