What I'm seeing lately!

A free-spirited postulant is sent to be the governess for the seven children of a strict naval captain, bringing joy and music back to their home.


This seems quite likely to eventually park for a Broadway run in the vein of The Wiz/Mamma Mia/Beaches/etc given the caliber of creative involved, the expensive traditional sets, and the fact that Cayleigh Capaldi absolutely smokes this score. Fun hybrid of the original stage orchestrations but keyed up from mezzo to Julie Andrews’s soprano. It’s such an old-fashioned show in so many ways but seeing her with the children really is a delight
