Not every beat lands perfectly in this 3-and-a-half-hour modern interpolation of the ancient Greek trilogy, with its rotating glass house and added time-skipping in tow, but so much of it does work and it’s such an achievement in sustained performance and design that, like, whatever. I was wowed. Super complex but never overwhelming. Pacing is remarkably brisk for a long play. Rosie Sheehy is on my list of actors to see in anything now.
