I super don’t feel qualified to say whether this is any good or not. Quality of performance is pretty high—they’ve got talented opera voices in the company and this giant hall suits that—it’s just got experimental can’t-pin-the-genre-down vibes and they spend the entire hour forty-five slamming straight men and the systems they create which eventually starts to feel—a little tired? Like there’s only so many variations of any one thing that you can say in a row before people start checking their watches, even if the intent is pure and the principle is true and the message is urgent. I was right next to this one dude who was (the only one in the room) laughing and wooing incredibly loudly at inappropriate moments for the entire runtime and it was pretty distracting
