Wow, this show is not very well publicized. It’s also great. As a rule of thumb, I’m pretty suspicious of coastal theater portraying midwesterners and southerners because I think the joke is often at our expense - but this is not that. It’s intimate and immersive and affecting and the singing and dancing and musicianship are all bringing it. A really wonderful couple of hours.
