Super fun. Laughed my butt off. A screenplay reading is a bit tossed-off even as benefits go, but Moonstruck basically works as-is on stage and they cast it very well. Katie Finneran was a scene-stealer. John Turturro was dying at every one of Stevie Van Zandt’s line reads. Bobby Cannavale sweeping Rose Byrne off her feet and holding her so she could read off her podium was adorable. Would love to see a legit production.
