An hour and a half of unintelligible self-indulgence in service of a bad joke about holding the audience captive. Being self-aware does not improve the substance of that kind of thing. I loved their other productions, I consistently advocate for offbeat & challenging theater, and I do not typically write reviews of things I don’t like—I still feel compelled to say that this is the most vicariously embarrassed I’ve been after like 200 shows and a totally opposite ethos to what I had come to expect from this cool little indie company
